A support group dealing with mixed race adoptions and fostering issues as well as tracing natural parents, especially those from Africa
It is well known that many adopted people desire to find their natural parents. There are many reasons for this desire such as wanting to know their medical history or finding their identity amongst many.
Tracking family members can be complex and, in Ireland, privacy and adoptions laws create many obstacles to locating natural parents. This is often more complicated when the father is African or from overseas which requires additional expertise to locate. We assist people in these situations and also provide a supportive group of people who have been in similar situations.
